Our ski train alcohol policy

With ski season just around the corner, here’s a quick reminder of what travellers can and can’t take on board our trains to the Alps.

Ski trains during the day

Each traveller can take 4 bottles or cans of beer or 1 bottle of wine. No spirits are permitted.

Overnight ski trains

On these journeys, we don't sell alcohol on board or allow travellers to bring their own alcohol with them even if they don't intend to drink it on the train.

Alcohol will be confiscated at check-in and destroyed, and only non-alcoholic drinks in sealed bottles will be allowed through security at the station.

This policy helps us make sure that everyone can enjoy a relaxed ambience on board and that everyone arrives bright-eyed, fresh-faced and set for the slopes.
