No more direct trains to South of France

We’re making lots of changes in the wake of the coronavirus crisis to help protect our customers and colleagues. And right now, we’re focusing on ensuring we can deliver the best possible service on our busiest routes.

We are therefore very sorry to tell you that we’ll no longer be running our direct summer trains to Lyon and the South of France for the rest of 2020 and 2021. This was a hard decision for us to make and one we made with a heavy heart.

If you have customers booked on this route, you will have one of the following options:

- Request an eVoucher via this link. Vouchers will be valid for 12 months and can be used on all routes.

- Submit your client’s tickets for cancellation, a credit note will then be added to your account.

- Exchange onto an indirect service for the same dates of travel (all passengers & all legs of the journey), with no fees or fare difference.

- Exchange onto an indirect service for alternative dates – no exchange fees, customers will need to pay any difference in fare.

Your customers can still visit Lyon, Avignon or Marseille by taking the Eurostar to Lille or Paris, then hopping on to a connecting TGV train. Connections are frequent and available all year round. It’ll add as little as 20 minutes if your customers change at Lille, or an extra 50 minutes if they change at Paris. And with a Eurostar booking, they can take the next connecting train if they’re delayed en route.
