FRANCE: Ongoing strikes in France

There’s been a series of ongoing strikes in France since 07 March. New days of mobilisation may be announced by French unions at short notice. The next one will take place on Tuesday 6 June. It will not impact our timetable and our trains will run as normal on that day.

If we need to make timetable changes on other strike days, be sure that we will keep you informed as soon as more information becomes available.

New ticket conditions for intra-Schengen routes

To simplify things for our passengers, we’re making our ticket conditions for intra-Schengen travel between France, Belgium and the Netherlands the same as those for our cross-Channel routes.

This means that passengers on our intra-Schengen routes can now change their booking without paying an exchange fee up to seven days before departure. (They’ll only need to pay any difference in fare.)

If a passenger changes their booking within seven days of their trip, they’ll also need to pay the below fees:

  • Standard: £30 / €40 per adult, per leg.
  • Standard Premier: £40 / €50 per adult, per leg.

Children’s tickets can be exchanged with no fee up until departure.
