Booking a wheelchair user ticket

Our wheelchair user fares are available for travellers who are unable to walk 200 metres unaided and need to travel in their own wheelchair.

The Eurostar Assist team are on hand at our stations to help with boarding and leaving the train and we can take up to two wheelchair users per train in specially adapted spaces near the accessible toilet in Standard Premier or Business Premier.

Our wheelchair user fares are always fixed at the lowest Standard class price and include a light meal and drinks served at the traveller’s seat. Discounted companion fares are also available.

For travellers who are unable to walk to or from the train unassisted, we’ll provide a wheelchair to get them to the train. They’ll need to be able to walk from the door to their seat though, and sit in a regular seat throughout your journey. There’s no special fare available in this case.
