Amsterdam and Rotterdam trains only able to run to and from Brussels on Friday 18 February
Due to extremely high winds on Friday 18 February, rail traffic in the Netherlands will be suspended from 14:00 CET until the end of the day and no trains will run after this time.
Subsequently, all Eurostar trains to and from Amsterdam Centraal and Rotterdam Centraal stations will only be able to operate between London and Brussels.
If traveling FROM Rotterdam or Amsterdam
Eurostar tickets will be valid on intercity domestic services from Amsterdam and Rotterdam to Brussels before 14:00 CET (where these services are still running) as well as on booked Eurostar trains from Brussels.
If traveling TO Amsterdam or Rotterdam
Eurostar tickets will still be valid on booked Eurostar services. However, services to Amsterdam and Rotterdam will terminate at Brussels Midi station and onward domestic rail travel will be suspended with effect from 14:00 CET.
Eurostar has activated its After-Sales Override Profile (AOP) to allow a free exchange or a full refund of tickets.
PROCEDURES
All channels with the exception of GDS-Air
Once Eurostar has activated AOP, customers and partners should be able to exchange tickets for alternative dates or process a refund in line with the commercial policy implemented within their booking systems.
TMC’s booking via GDS-Air
Where Eurostar’s After-Sales Override Profile does not override fare conditions in GDS Air, TMC’s should process exchanges or refunds manually via the BSP link (subject to the commercial policy implemented by Eurostar).
