Brexit: Important information for EU, EEA and Swiss citizens

From 30 June, EU, EEA and Swiss citizens living in the UK with settled or pre-settled status may be asked to provide proof when entering the UK.

Customers can generate a code here, which they may need to show to UK Border Force officers. This code will confirm their immigration status. Further information regarding how to obtain this code can be found via the following link.  Brexit - Proving pre-settled or settled status.pptx

From 01 October, passports will be mandatory for EU, EEA and Swiss citizens who are visiting the UK.

But if a passenger has settled or pre-settled status, they can continue using their national ID card until 31 December 2025. Find out more here.
