Upcoming rail strikes in the UK: Eurostar trains running as normal

Rail strikes have been announced in the UK on the following days:
- Saturday 30 September
- Wednesday 04 October

These strikes will not affect our timetable.
However, please make your clients aware that local trains in the UK may be severely disrupted.

FARES

We know how important it is for your customers to have the freedom to change their travel plans at a time when the situation can change at any time. With our flexible ticketing options, your customers can book with the peace of mind that they can rearrange their travel plans if necessary.

On all public ranges, the below ticket conditions will apply:

Customers can exchange tickets in Standard and Standard Premier as many times as they want without paying an exchange fee, as long as tickets are exchanged 7 days or more before the departure time of their individual journey.Fare difference applies (i.e. if the new ticket is more expensive, the customer pays the difference in fare. If the new ticket is less expensive, the passenger is not refunded the fare difference.)

If tickets are exchanged less than 7 days before the departure time:

  • Adult tickets – will incur an exchange fee per person and per individual journey in Standard (£30) and in Standard Premier (£40). Fare difference applies (i.e. if the new ticket is more expensive, the customer pays the difference in fare. If the new ticket is less expensive, the passenger is not refunded the fare difference.)
  • Child tickets – will not incur an exchange fee.
