Accessibility
Our commitment
Eurostar is committed to providing an accessible website. In simple terms, we aim to ensure that our website displays correctly and that key functions work on any browser that has a minimum 2% usage (as per the UK Government's guidelines). This doesn't mean that our website will be pixel perfect for everyone, however, our aim is that all users can access and use critical information and features on our website, regardless of the internet browser they use. We also aim to ensure that our website is usable by those who interact with it using popular assistive technologies (such as screen-readers), even if those users account for less than 2% of the visitors to our site.
Our work to ensure our website is accessible is ongoing and involves regular checks and tests against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 and the relevant recommendations of the British Standard for Web Accessibility, BS 8878:2010.
We regularly test our website and important changes we make to it on the main operating systems (such as Microsoft Windows and Apple OS X/iOS), browsers (such a as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari) and devices (such as desktops, laptops and tablets). Where any issues or limitations are identified, we aim to record these here and ask that any users affected by these contact our Eurostar Internet Support team on 03432 186 186 for assistance in accessing the relevant content or features.
