Take the train to the French Alps
Eurostar runs direct day trains to the Alps on Saturdays from December to April and direct night trains on Fridays from January to April.
Our generous luggage allowance means you can take your skis or snowboard, as well as two bags at no extra cost.
Just check in an hour before departure from St Pancras or Ashford International to speed straight to the slopes.
Arriving in the French Alps
Trains from the UK stop at Moûtiers, Aime-la-Plagne and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, from where Courchevel, La Plagne, Tignes, Meribel and Les Arcs are all within easy reach by coach.
Return trains leave from Moûtiers and Bourg-Saint-Maurice so you’ll need to make your own way from Aime-la-Plagne.
On your journey home, please arrive at the Bourg St Maurice station 90 minutes before your train is due to depart. Check-in will close 30 minutes before the train leaves.
Travelling on the night train?
On these journeys, we don't sell alcohol on board or allow travellers to bring their own alcohol with them even if they don't intend to drink it on the train.
Alcohol will be confiscated at check-in and destroyed, and only non-alcoholic drinks in sealed bottles will be allowed through security at the station.
This policy helps us make sure that everyone can enjoy a relaxed ambience on board and that everyone arrives bright-eyed, fresh-faced and set for the slopes.
