UPDATE 22/03: French customs working to rule; Planned cancellations until March 30 2019

The situation is progressively returning to normal, however it may take longer than normal to proceed through departures in Paris Gare du Nord. Please ask passengers to arrive at the station at the time indicated on their ticket. Normal ticket conditions now apply. Please check Category 16 if using the GDS, or click the link below to see the conditions of all tickets. All customers/agencies have now been contacted regarding planned cancellations until March 30th.

Industrial action by French customs in Paris

We are expecting sizeable delays and congestion in Paris Gare du Nord until March 12th due to French customs work to rule, which means security checks are taking longer than usual.

We would recommend not travelling unless necessary, customers can change or refund their ticket for free, should they decide not to travel.

If they need to travel, customers need to proceed to the ticket gates at the time indicated on their ticket. If they arrive at their destination more than 60 minutes late, they can claim compensation the next day at compensation.eurostar.com.
