We’re introducing an amended timetable at Ashford International until 30 September 2018.
This is a temporary measure, due to strike action at the SNCF depot where our trains that serve Ashford station are serviced. This revised timetable will allow our teams to carry out the routine maintenance work on these trains which would normally be performed in Paris, so that we can return to a reliable normal service after the summer.
Until 5 August, certain trains running to and from Paris will stop at Ebbsfleet International instead and you'll need to board or disembark from there or London St Pancras. Please check the timetable below to see if your journey is affected.
The timetables for 6 August - 30 September for services due to stop at Ashford are published below. All affected trains to and from Paris and most affected trains to and from Brussels will instead have a replacement stop in Ebbsfleet International. If your journey is impacted by these changes, you'll need to board or disembark at Ebbsfleet or London St Pancras.
From 6 August to 1 September, there will be no trains running to or from Brussels which stop at Ashford.
All direct Eurostar services to/from Disneyland Paris, Lyon, Avignon and Marseille will continue to stop at Ashford as normal.
This timetable is applicable on all dates; however, some services may be occasionally subject to changes at short notice. If this happens, we will contact the passenger before travel.
Getting to/from Ashford
The passenger can either :
- have the Eurostar ticket stamped by a member of staff in order to validate it for the Southeastern journey (their Eurostar ticket will NOT be accepted by Southeastern staff without validation from Eurostar)
- or, purchase your own and claim the cost back for this.
Southeastern High Speed services
The journey time between Ashford and Ebbsfleet, is just 20 minutes but please allow time to make the transfer. Check the Southeastern timetables for the best connecting service between Ashford, Ebbsfleet and London St Pancras.
If the passenger has pre-booked car parking at Ashford International station that they no longer need, please email email@example.com with the details of your on-line booking for Ashford and the reason for cancellation and it will be cancelled and refunded.
If your journey is part of a return trip, you can check the revised timetables above to see if the train on your outbound journey also stops at Ebbsfleet. Your Eurostar tickets from Ashford will be accepted at Ebbsfleet if this is more convenient for you to board there.
